About this product
The PXG 0311 Gen1 Single 6 Iron is a right-handed men's iron with a stiff flex steel shaft (XP 100 S300) and an extra inch of length. Part of the first generation of PXG's 0311 line, it offers a forged feel and is designed for skilled players. Made in the USA, this single club provides an opportunity to test or complete a set.
Our take
I picked up this PXG 0311 Gen1 6 iron as a single club to round out my set. The XP 100 S300 shaft gives a stiff, responsive feel that better players will appreciate. The +1 inch length helps if you're on the taller side. Build quality is solid, though being Gen1, it lacks some refinements of newer models. At $55, it's a decent price for a premium iron, but note that it's a single club and may not match newer PXG sets in feel.
